Nunzia Design started with a wise idea, that came up to the mind of one of the founders: albeit a modern woman has to be highly professional and skillful, she can not forget about fashion and give up latest trends of design. This won’t prevent a woman from becoming a business-lady – on the contrary, being fashionable in professional sphere opens new horizons for a woman. Today the number of women both in business world and academic settings is increasing rapidly, and to be a success, they have to switch from masculine, brutal style to being functional yet beautiful. This is how Nancy Ash, the founder of Nunzia Design, views the main aims of her products.
After making some research in the modern market, Nancy Ash has come to a conclusion, that it is full of luxury items, however, not many really fashionable and stylish designs were available for an average woman. Nancy Ash noticed, that there was a huge demand of laptop cases, having high end appearance, made of top notch materials and, what is even more important, sold at affordable prices.
So, the concept of the company was worked out, and some leading New York fashion designers participated in the project and made their contribution to the product ranges of the company. The products were made up – still their brand name wasn’t. Nancy Ash decided to stay as personal in this question, as it was possible to be. "Nunzia" was the nickname, Nancy’s brother (he died young in 2004) used to call her, when they were kids. A logo "Go for it, Nunz" echoes in each laptop case, designed and produced by Nunzia Design – a good tribute for a very good man, to our taste.
At the 2006 International CES show, that took place in Las Vegas, the product of Nunzia Design, called Tuscany bag, was named #1 Women's laptop bag of the year.
