Lately Celine presented a new collection for Spring – Summer 2010 that is called Luggage Handbag collection. You can see that Phoebe Philo has done her job perfect, and who knows, maybe she will be able to make Celine one of the most prestigious brands. Now I suggest that we take a close look at the collection.

Luggage Handbags are quiet and luxurious, spacious and stylish. All bags are very similar to each other. What differs is material and colors. The designer uses a wide range of fabrics – from reptile leather, baby Buffalo and Mongolian lamb to soft and traditional suede. I am also very pleased to see both vivid and quiet colors, which makes to possible to match the bag with your style. Most bags are classic combinations of two colors as black and white, for example, and tri-color versions as well. The Luggage handbag is available in diverse sizes: mini, medium and oversized.

Construction of the bag is a signature of the designer. At the front part there is a zipped pocket, a leather butterfly detail at the back, leather shoulder handles, an exquisite curved seam at both sides. The bags are supposed to be rather heavy but in comparison with Birkin or Chanel they are average.

And the last but not the least detail. The Luggage bags cost as much as $ 1,700. Some say it is pricy, others are ready to buy it right away. Anyway, Celine Luggage handbag collection S/S 2010 definitely stands out.
