Accessories are believed to be the best match for any dress in any fashion trend. Without any accessories even a gorgeous two-piece suit will look unfinished. But if you add to it a bracelet, a necklace, a brooch, a scarf, or a belt – your appearance will change in a moment!

What regards automobile industry, this is exactly the case. Accessories here rank high and are only second to capacity and design in this respect. Nowadays it’s hard to find an automobile manufacturer who hasn’t tried his hands at running some other business, besides an automobile one. And it is extremely hard to find the one who hasn’t produced a proprietary bag.

For example, Maserati has held a lot of handbag fashion shows. Last year he presented a new collection that was the product of Maserati’s cooperation with a top-selling elite Salvatore Ferragamo brand. The latter is widely known for its luxury footwear, leather products, clothes, accessories and perfumes. Generally speaking, Maserati spared neither strength nor resources to put out another collection of Maserati bags.

The cooperation of the two famous Italians turned out to be very fruitful. Salvatore Ferragamo succeeded to design as many as five leather accessories for Maserati: a suitcase, a duffel bag, a women suitcase, a footgear luggage with three replacement units, as well as a clothes holdall with a clothes rack as a unit.

The flagship designer company even waived its own principles for the sake of the leading automobile manufacturer. As a rule, Salvatore Ferragamo creates impressive bright colour models, but this time all the accessories were of quiet, noble colours and were named after Italian cities and towns - ‘Glossy Firenze’, ‘Sporty Modena’, etc. In generall, all bag designs had tints of silver-blue and aubergine colours.

The designers derived inspiration from the pleasant colours of Maserati cars and … from the radiator enclosure of a new GranTurismo. It was this radiator enclosure that suggested them a new shape for the bag styles. So, that collection of Maserati leather accessories was a real success. The Italian designer did his best.
