Valentino 2011 Toile de V Handbag Lineup
Toile de V is a new lineup of Valentino 2011 handbags. The collection is inspired by Valentino proprietary ornament with a “double V” monogram worked out by Valentino Garavani back in 1968.
The brand’s New designers, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, breathed a new life into the Valentino Garavani picture that has become of a great historic value for the Fashion House.
The Italian couturier first used the V-monogram to adorn jacquard fabrics in the White collection, the Collezione Bianca, in 1968. Just after the presentation of this collection Valentino became also known as Sheikh of Chic.
Now this monogram inspired Valentino successors to create a new picture named “Toile de V” (literally translated as “V fabrics”). The pattern has already embellished the new Toile de V lineup of Valentino 2011 handbags from Fall collection.
The new Valentino 2011 collection includes 10 models of women’s handbags made from thick textile fabrics. All the handbags feature a “Toile de V” picture. For details the designers used exotic leather, for instance patchpockets and edges are made from colored leather as well as handles and fasteners are covered with the same kind of leather.
Valentino 2011 handbags from the Toile de V lineup represent two popular trends for the season – color blocking and multiple textures.

Handbags 2011 from Fall-Winter Collections – Complicated Textures
Complicated texture is one of the main signs to tell us that this or that handbag marches in step with accessory fashion for Fall-Winter 2011. Now designers combine different surface materials and different colors within one and the same bag to breathe a new life into already known handbag models.
Handbags 2011 prove that there can be a great number of different texture combinations: smooth leather + long-napped fur, glittering patent leather + velvety suede, python leather + ostrich leather and so on. The combinations can be grouped in two: strict ones with pieces selected to match each other in color and texture and spontaneous ones with lots of contrasting details arranged out of order. Both trends are widely used side by side by various designers.
Complicated textures can obviously benefit handbag designers for although the shape remains the same, an unusual surface comprised of different materials makes the handbags bright and stylish. This trend can be seen in handbag 2011 collections from VBH, Chloé, Alexander McQueen..

As a rule, designers use two or three textures for handbags 2011. They often accentuate separate handbag details, flaps or patchpockets, with the texture different from the main one. The combination can be both eye-catching and subtle, the latter being spotted only under thorough examination.
Such multi-textured handbags 2011 allow you to match your clothes with either of the pieces, and select outfits with either main material in mind or the texture of handbag details.

Stella McCartney Fall-Winter 2011/12 Handbag Collection
We continue to speak about lady handbags for Fall-Winter 2011/12. The accessory line up of Stella McCartney for the coming season includes the already known Falabella handbags alongside with the new models done in the same laconic style.
Stella McCartney handbags have always been famous for their minimalistic style. The trademark of the British designer is the Falabella handbag shaped like a rectangular bag that can be folded in two. Every season Stella McCartney launches updated versions of this handbag. In Fall-Winter 2011/12 collection there appeared models from artificial fur imitating chinchilla skin. In this way the designer offers a great alternative to expensive fur accessories.
Another variant of Stella McCartney Falabella handbag is made from thick sack cloth, which texture and color would excellently match costume fabrics. And if you find the same colored costume, you’ll march in step with the most fashionable trends, for nowadays designers advice people to match the texture of overclothes with the materials of handbags they wear.
The trend is in for this season as well, so Stella McCartney created a Falabella handbag with a “rumpled” surface. The same effect can be created with a photo print depicting rumpled foil.
The novice of Stella McCartney collection is strict rectangular handbags with a flap. The accessories feature rather laconic shape yet it is enlivened by a stylish buckle covered with the material used for the top. The handbags are made from artificial leather.
