Dolce & Gabbana is a high-end fashion house started by the Italian designers Domenico Dolce, born near Palermo, Sicily, and Stefano Gabbana, born in Milan, Italy. Dolce & Gabbana are very popular for their designs in the Hollywood industry; they have designed clothes for Madonna, Monica Bellucci, Ayumi Hamasaki, Isabella Rossellini and Kylie Minogue amongst others.

Recently the fashion house released a new collection for Fall – Winter 2010. If you remember, the trend of the runway shows of the season was understated style, but D&G decided not to follow the common concept and manufactures a handbag that is all for glamour and shimmering elegance. The Miss Charlotte Shopper bag is like a beautiful rainbow in the blue sky, not that the blue isn’t beautiful, just that the rainbow really adds some more color and happy feel to the whole image. This is really a breathtaking bag at first sight, but once you get beyond its outward beauty you can appreciate it for its smart construction. It’s slightly slouchy, but still rigid enough to keep from looking sloppy. A hint of classic leopard print detail graces each side, while sturdy studded handles finish the look nicely.

The handbag is made of dramatically textured buffalo and goatskin leathers with a gleaming metallic finish. Leopard inserts look excellent and add a spice to the bag turning it in a true wonder. I personally love the way studs trim the rolled handles and a chain drawstring gently cinches the top. These details make the handbag look rich, glam yet elegant and feminine.

The Miss Charlotte Shopper features a magnetic-tab closure and an exterior magnetic-flap pocket. The inside part of the bag has an interior zip and wall pockets. The only unpleasant thing about this bag is the price. Miss Charlotte costs $ 2,745.

The first bag that is worth your attention is Gucci GG Twins Guccissima Hobo Bag. The whole bag is extra U-shaped, which looks like a drop of water. I like this hobo for its simplicity in design and extravaganza in details. The main body is made of classic Guccissima leather of mild beige hue embellished with typical Gucci patterns. The extraordinary part is in the strap. The interlocking G logo adjuster on both sides of the strap makes the bag special and fabulous. If you think the look is too simple and not luxurious enough, the shining interlocking G hardware makes it a true luxury.

Another offering is Gucci ‘icon bit’ large hobo. It is quite curious that this orange shaded python leather hobo bag is not one of the most expensive ones in the collection, though it is the most luxuriously looking one. The bag as a whole is closed by double zip-top closure with horse bit detail.
