HARVEYS is a company founded by a husband and wife - Dana and Melanie Harvey. The company has a very distinct history. As early as 1997, Dana and Melanie came up with an idea to design a handbag for Melanie that would match the seatbelts in their 1950 Buick. The bag turned out to be very cute, and Melanie got lots of compliments on it. So the husband and wife decided to set up their small bag making business. At first their design studio was simply their car garage in California.
Soon their bags became so popular, that they managed to buy a real design studio in Santa Ana, California. This Jackknife daypack from High Sierra is a classy pack with a 1952.34 cubic inch capacity. The Jackknife daypack measures 17.5 x 12.75 x 8.75 inches.
The pack is available in black/charcoal, red/ash/charcoal, and rain forest/ash/black versions. This High Sierra daypack is super comfortable on the back as it has padded back. Moreover, its ergonomic, S-shaped and padded shoulder straps provide great fit around the shoulders. The strap suspension system works very well and all the zippers are easy to use.
